'Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet' Coming This February 2018
Bandai Namco has finally revealed the release date for "Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet." The game will make its way to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam on Feb. 23.
Then known as #Projekt1514, the game was first teased back in August. The game features an original story and made under the supervision of series creator Reki Kawahara.
The company revealed more details about the upcoming launch in its official website including bonuses for those who pre-order the game. According to the post, the game will receive both digital and physical releases as well as a Collector's edition which includes 2 main characters figurines dressed with exclusive costumes from the game – Kirito and Sinon -, 1 cloth Game Map and 1 exclusive artbook.

Bandai also laid out bonuses for those who pre-order the game for both console and PC. These bonuses include an SAO Asuna and SAO Kirito Costumes and the Silver Assault Rifle, an in-game weapon. The company also unveiled previously undisclosed information about "Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet" to celebrate the pre-order opening.
In addition to Kirito, Asuna, and Sinon, new characters will join the crew from "Alternative Gun Gale Online" like Yuuki, Strea, LLenn, and Pitohui. The game will also host GC events where some special actions can trigger special party events to discover more about the characters' life.
Players can now also choose to experience the game as a solo player like Kirito, or as a member of a four-member party. Players won't direct control the party members but will have the chance to set specific actions and behaviors. This is in addition to offline mode where they will also meet other NPCs which will challenge the player either alone or in groups.
"Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet" will be available on the Feb. 23 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC via STEAM.
