'Teen Mom 2's Leah Calvert Says 'I Will Let Go and Let God' When Provoked
Leah Messer Calvert has been through a lot since becoming the mother of twins at the age of 16 and has now said that she will not react to provocation, but instead give everything to God.
"I needed this … From now on I will give no reaction. I will let go, and let GOD. Everything happens for a reason!" Calvert tweeted on Saturday.
On this season of "Teen Mom 2," viewers have watched Calvert as she deals with an impending custody battle with ex-husband Cory Messer, grapple with crippling anxiety, and try to get her ill daughter a wheelchair. It's been one of the more intense seasons of the show, with viewers often leaving hate-filled messages on Calvert's Facebook and Twitter pages.

Calvert is the mother of three children, one of whom has been diagnosed with a very rare, incurable form of muscular dystrophy. Despite the grim prognosis, Calvert has consistently encouraged her daughter to lead a normal life and make her dreams come true.
"Ali is running," the proud mom said in February. "She has so much determination. We're in awe of how she handles adversity. She's doing so much better than expected. We don't know what the future holds, but this is proof that we should never give up hope."
Church is an important staple for Calvert and her family; she frequently posts about the girls' adventures and lessons in Sunday school. She and husband Jeremy welcomed daughter Adalynn Faith in February 2013 and have been busy adjusting to life with three girls and Ali's medical needs.
Complicating matters is the custody issue with ex-husband Cory Messer, who felt that Calvert was not fulfilling her daughter's needs by taking her to physical therapy. He has petitioned for full custody, devastating Calvert. Things still have to go to court, which will undoubtedly mean more stress for all those involved, but Calvert is putting her faith in the Lord.
