Telltale Games Reveals Release Date for 'Game of Thrones A Telltale Games Series,' Steam Pre-Purchase Comes With 10 Percent Discount

Telltale Games has given a release date for their new episodic adventure series game for the "Game of Thrones." The game was recently listed on Steam and was scheduled to come out December this year. The developers had only later confirmed that the game was to come out early next month.

"We're anticipating an early December premiere for the first episode of Game of Thrones: A Telltale Game Series. Standby @telltalegames on twitter for an announcement expected very soon," Telltale Games said.

Only the first episode will be coming out next year though with more episodes expected to come out during 2015. It has also been confirmed that the game will span six episodes long and will be made available for the Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, the PC, and Macintosh desktop computers.

As first seen in Steam, the game is available for pre-purchase on Steam with a limited-time 10 percent discount. Also included in the page is the requirements for the PC and Mac.

Macintosh requires the system to have at least the following: Snow Leapard (10.6.X) OS, 2.3GHz Intel processor, 4GB RAM, 512MB Nvidia or ATI graphics card, 3GB of available hard drive space. It was also noted that the game is not recommended for Intel integrated graphics or Mac Minis as well as the early-generation Macbooks.

For the PC, the game requires at least the following to run: Windows XP Service Pack 3, Core 2 Duo 2GHz, 3GB RAM, ATI or Nvidia card with 512MB of RAM, Direct X 9.0, 3GB of available hard drive space, a Direct X 9.0 sound card. It's also noted that Intel integrated graphics are not recommended.
