Teresa Giudice Talks God Helping Her Through Tough Year

Teresa Giudice is giving fans a glimpse of her tough year in the latest season of "Real Housewives of New Jersey," and now she is revealing how God is helping her through it.

Teresa's husband Joe's father, Frank Giudice, collapsed at their home which led to his untimely death last month, and the couple has found themselves in legal trouble that could result in jail time and deportation. Teresa and her husband Joe pleaded guilty to multiple fraud charges in a New Jersey federal court.

While the pair featured on "Real Housewives of New Jersey" will not be sentenced until September, Joe faces a potential deportation or 37 to 46 months in jail, while Teresa faces 21 to 27 months. During the sixth season premiere of the Bravo TV show, the Giudice family share emotional moments with their eldest daughter Gia who could not hold back her tears when speaking about her parents' legal battle.

The show also gave fans a glimpse of the couple receiving words of encouragement from Frank Giudice, before his untimely passing. Teresa took to her Bravo TV blog to begin the sixth season of her show by letting fans know how she believes God will help her through her family's tough times.

"I'm so blessed for the amount of love and support I've been given by everyone around me, including all of you. It means the world to me. Thank you so-so-SO much," the Catholic reality television star wrote. "It has been a difficult year for my family, and we still have difficult things ahead. It is a lot of stress and that stress has taken a toll on me and my family, but we will get through it with love and with God's help."

The Giudices are a Catholic family and Radar Online previously reported that they have been relying on their faith to get them through this time.

"Spending time with her family minister is helping during a very dark time," a source reportedly told Radar Online previously. "She has always been extremely religious and is relying on it more now than ever."
