With that, it was revealed that Ben Higgins had sent home one of the twins in the previous episode. The two were seen on a two-on-one date with Ben in Vegas. Since that was the hometown of the twins, the date took place in their home, which allowed for Ben to meet their mom.

Ben then decided to speak to their mother in order to figure out which one of the twins to keep again. The twins' mom revealed that Emily was more dominant compared to Haley. She explained that Haley needed time in order to get to know someone. With that, Ben finally chose to keep Emily in the series.
The situation caused fans to speculate that Ben's decision was influenced by the twins' mother. There are speculations that the mother wanted Ben to take Emily instead of Haley.
During an interview with ABC, Haley addressed the matter. She said, "I don't think that is true at all. She was just describing our true personalities. I really respect Ben's decision before any deeper feeling started to develop and it got really awkward between my sister and I."
Fortunately, Haley has no negative feelings toward Ben nor her sister. She explained that she was happy to have her sister still in the competition for Ben's heart. Meanwhile, it was revealed that two other girls were sent home that same episode. It was stated that Amber and Rachel did not receive roses in the previous episode.
The upcoming episode of "The Bachelor" is expected to air this Feb. 1.
