'The Big Bang Theory' Season 7 Spoilers: 'Beautiful Scene' Ahead, Penny and Leonard Continue 'Proposal Game'

"The Big Bang Theory" is nearing its season seven finale with just two more episodes left, including this Thursday's "The Gorilla Dissolution."

Although the season finale does not air until May 15, spoilers about the closers have already surfaced online. Emily, portrayed by Laura Spencer, will not appear in the episode, but "The Big Bang Theory" executive producer Steve Molaro promises the audience will hear about her.

"There will be quite a bit of discussion about Raj (Kunal Nayyar) and Emily," Molaro told TVLine.

The EP went on to promise that the episode directly before the finale includes "a really, really beautiful scene" between Raj and Emily that was completed "in one take."

"They were both so great in it and were so natural," Molaro revealed. "And there was so much chemistry. [The scene] was done, and we moved on."

Additional details on the season seven finale include the return of Leonard's mother, Beverly, portrayed by Christine Baranski. According to TVLine, the character will appear during a scene with Leonard over Skype.

Meanwhile, in a different interview, Molaro provided possible spoilers on the relationship between Leonard and Penny (Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting), and whether or not they will actually get engaged this season despite their ongoing "proposal game."

"There's a lot of discussion in the last few episodes and they both realize they have to decide how serious they are about doing this," the EP explained to TV Guide. "Leonard and Penny are capable of proposing to each other at any time on Big Bang, for better or worse. They will talk about it ... how often they propose and should they really be doing that anymore or should they just do it for real and get engaged? They can't keep playing this proposal game forever. It comes to a head in the last two episodes."

Molaro also discussed last week's episode of "The Big Bang Theory," which saw the death of Professor Proton- something the EP described as "bittersweet."

"The older you get, you lose more people in your life. We wanted to touch on that," he explained to TV Guide of the episode. "Professor Proton is a father figure to Sheldon, so it's a huge loss. He struggles with it. He tries to convince himself that there's nothing he can do about it. It's bothering him a lor more than he would admit at first."

"The Big Bang Theory" airs Thursdays at CBS at 8 p.m. EST.
