The CBS' hit sitcom "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 returns to the airwaves this week with a brand new exciting episode that might reveal the fate of two of the major characters in the show and a song.
Fans have really been waiting for that moment to find Sheldon (Jim Parsons) back in Amy's (Mayim Bialik) arms. When the show left off for its Thanksgiving break, it was revealed that the neurobiologist still has feelings for the theoretical physicist and has decided that she makes the first move. However, viewers were shocked when Sheldon turned her down. Will Sheldon change his mind and take back what he said in Episode 10?
Titled "The Earthworm Reverberation," the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic says that Sheldon will have a Zen moment when he hears a song on the radio that keeps on playing on his head. As to what this song is about, fans are yet to find out. Nevertheless, the genre should lie around the love category.

In another development of the story, Amy will ask Dave (Stephen Merchant) over for dinner to make up for that awkward date they had before. Wolowitz (Simon Helberg) and Koothrappali (Kunal Nayyar), on the other hand, will get very preoccupied with a fan of their band which is called "Footprints on the Moon."
For those who really can't wait to find out about the fate of Amy and Sheldon, a report from Yibada.com cited Bialik's interview wherein she revealed that somewhere in Season 9, fans will get to see her character sharing the bed with Sheldon.
"So we see before and we see after. It's intense. You'll see us in bed together. We spent pretty much half that episode in bed together," she said.
Parsons, on his part, shared his views about the sex storyline in a separate interview. He said that perhaps it's about time for Amy and Sheldon to do the act.
Whether or not these details tell of their reunion, it is yet to be revealed.
