'The Big Bang Theory' Season 9 Spoilers: Veteran Actress Cast As Meemaw; Episode 14 Details Revealed

Fans of the hit CBS sitcom, "The Big Bang Theory," will finally get to see the person Sheldon (Jim Parson) is always talking about. Meanwhile, spoiler reports hinted on Raj (Kunal Nayyar) meeting a new girl that will make him question his current relationship.

The synopsis from The Futon Critic for the episode titled "The Meemaw Materialization" says that Sheldon will be thrilled to finally introduce his Meemaw to his friends Leonard (Johnny Galecki), Penny (Kaley Cuoco), Wolowitz (Simon Helberg), and the rest of the company. However, his excitement for the newcomer's presence quickly lessens when she locks horns with Amy (Mayim Bialik).

Right over at Entertainment Weekly, it was announced that the Academy Award nominee and veteran actress June Squibb has been tapped to portray Sheldon's "much-discussed, but never-before-seen" grandmother.

The details on the circumstances that made her come and visit her genius grandkid are yet to be known but the fans are quite expectant that her presence will make the episode even more interesting.

As if Meemaw wasn't exciting enough, TFC also revealed that Raj will meet a new girl who will further put fire on his nerdiness. As pointed out, the person in question happens to be a sci-fi fantasy writer with whom he is a long-time fan.

The report from TVLine last year hinted that this woman could be the cause of the breakup between him and Emily (Laura Spencer).

"I think he knows in his heart that this might not be the right person for him, but, for a sensitive and insecure guy like him, the thought of choosing to break up with someone and then be alone is difficult. That's something he will be wrestling with further in season 9," executive producer Steve Molaro told the media outlet back in September.

Could the dreaded split happen in this episode? Find out when the "Big Bang Theory" airs Feb. 4 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
