'The Bold and the Beautiful' Spoilers, Plot Recap: Maya Looks to Make Decision

Last week on 'The Bold and the Beautiful', Nicole tells Maya that if she tells Rick that she's transgender, she could lose everything she worked so hard for. Nicole implores her not to ruin things now, since both of them are doing so great. Maya says that she's proud of her choices and that the only thing that she's worried about is the fact that she might have waited too long to tell Rick the truth. He has to know the reason why she can't have children.

Meanwhile, Rick chooses Maya's engagement ring and the jeweler approves of his choice. Brooke arrives and Rick tells her that he's going to propose to Maya. Brooke tells him not to be so hasty, but Rick says that he knows everything about Maya and that she's the one for him. Brooke tells him that he has her support.

Inside Forrester Creations, Eric asks Ridge how things are going in the company. Ridge says that morale is low and people are scared of getting fired. He says that Rick is a different person when Eric is not around and that he can't take Rick being CEO anymore.

He also complains about him rehiring Quinn because he fears that it's like having too much power in the wrong hands. Eric says that Rick will stay on as CEO for the entire year. Brooke arrives and defends Rick. Ridge then says that if all the success in the company is due to Rick's doing, then they can go and find themselves another designer.

"I quit," Ridge says.
