'The Expendables 4' News: Terry Crews Thinks Stallone will Give Up the Franchise to Pursue 'Creed'

In what could be one of the biggest achievements in the life of one Sylvester Stallone, the producer, director, and actor has received a Golden Globes for "Creed," and while he is working on "The Expendables 4," Terry Crews thinks a change might happen in terms of administrating the franchise.

Slash Film got a hold of Crews, who plays Hale Caesar in the "Expendables" franchise and he gave insight on the upcoming movie and what he thinks Stallone's move will be, now Stallone is on the list of nominees for the Oscars Best Supporting Actor.

Crews first made it clear that he will be supporting the person who is like a "dad" to him in every decision he will be making in the future. On the other hand, he thinks that Stallone's options have now gone beyond "Expendables." "I'm just thinking he's got options now...He should think about what his next move is going to be, what he's going to do. Creed was amazing, amazing. It showed his [Stallone] depth and he's a lot deeper than people always give him credit for," he explained.

If Crews' speculations that Stallone will be going for "Creed" and will probably hand over the fourth installment of "Expendables" to his loyal team, it is possible that fans won't see Barney Ross in the upcoming movie.

Another possibility is that Stallone will altogether give up the franchise and focus on the sequel for "Creed." This means he might not be touching the script or even talking to people who will be included in the fourth film.

While the news may come as a shocker to moviegoers who have supported the franchise from the first installment, Stallone's exit may open doors for other people in the "Expendables" team to show off.

In the meantime, fans can just rely on the idea that Stallone will still be on the fourth movie but will probably say good-bye at the end to surrender his rights for another generation in the fifth installment.

"The Expendables 4" is expected to release sometime in 2017.
