'The Flash' Season 2 Spoilers: Robbie Amell Returns As Deathstorm
Time flew by so fast and the waiting for new episodes of "The Flash" is almost coming to an end. The second half of season two is ready to return to the small screen, but before it could even debut, spoilers have already made their way to the web, giving fans hints on what happens next in Barry Allen aka The Flash's (Grant Gustin) life.
Apparently, it's going to be a very thrilling one as reports say that an old character is going to be raised from the dead. According to International Business Times, Robbie Amell is reprising his role as Ronnie Raymond, who lived as Firestorm in the first season of the series.
He worked at S.T.A.R. Labs as the lead structural engineer of the particle accelerator and got engaged to Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker). But he had to say his goodbyes after he sacrificed himself to prevent the singularity that was destroying Central City.

In season 2B, he will be back but there's going to be a twist as he is not going to be the same superhero that fans used to know. According to Entertainment Weekly, this time, Amell will be playing the Earth 2 version of Ronnie—who is also known as Deathstorm.
"We are beyond excited to have Robbie back on The Flash," executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said in the EW report. "You can't keep a good Firestorm down. Only this time, he's back with a twist, a deadly Earth-Two version of our beloved Ronnie in the form of Deathstorm."
Watching Ronnie as a villain is going to take some time for fans to adjust to but it's going to be exciting as he and Killer Frost aka Caitlin will be married. Together, they embark on a completely different path that is going to give Barry a hard time.
"The Flash" season 2 episode 10 will air on Jan. 19 on The CW.
