'The Good Wife' Season 5 Spoilers: Michael J. Fox Returns, Brings Drama

"The Good Wife" returns to CBS with its latest installment entitled "All Tapped Out" this Sunday, April 20.

Last week, Alicia (Julianna Marguiles) and Diane (Christine Baranski) decided to merge their firm, and Kalinda offered to help. Also, Alicia offered advice to Finn Polmar (Matthew Goode) as the State's Attorney searched for someone to blame for Will's death. For spoilers on this week's episode, keep reading. During "All Tapped Out," Louis Canning (Michael J. Fox) will return to the series.

Furthermore, Alicia learns that the NSA firm as been watching both her firm and her personal life. She also takes on the State Attorney's office after they try to make Finn the scapegoat in the Jeffrey Grant case.

Meanwhile, fans are still reeling over Will Garner's death, and consequently, actor Josh Charles' departure, but viewers can rest assured one cast member is staying put. According to reports last week, Matthew Goode is being promoted from the series' guest star to a regular actor for the rest of season five. The actor portrays Finn on "The Good Wife."

According to executive producer and co-creator Robert King, Finn will be at the center of a "political crossfire" in relation to the courtroom shooting as the State Attorney's office searches for someone to blame, reported TVLine.

"The Good Wife" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. EST on CBS. The synopsis for "All Tapped Out" is as follows: "Florrick/Agos represents an NSA whistle-blower and learns that the agency has been monitoring the firm and Alicia's personal life. Meanwhile, Louis Canning joins Lockhart/Gardner; and Alicia goes after the State's Attorney when he tries to make Finn a scapegoat in the Jeffrey Grant case."
