'The Originals' Season 3 Episode 9 Spoilers: Showrunner Michael Narducci Gives Details On Klaus' Issues With His Ex-Flame
The CW's hit supernatural drama TV series "The Originals" Season 7 returns this week with its mid-season finale episode that will further reveal the predicament that Klaus is in now that a woman from his past has decided to pay him a visit. Meanwhile, Hayley plans for a perfect Christmas celebration.
In an interview with TVLine, executive producer Michael Narducci shares that the upcoming episode will continue to tell the "sinister" tale of the chaotic Aurora-Klaus-Cami bizarre love triangle. The EP particularly pointed out the volatility of Aurora which poses a great deal of danger not only for Klaus' new love interest, but also to his whole family.
The ex-girlfriend showed just how mad she is at the current situation where her lover from the past is now happy with someone else. To make it fair for herself, she opted to kidnap and torture Cami. Her anger even drove her to lock up Klaus' sister in a box and dropping her to the bottom of the ocean.
Narducci described Aurora's characteristic to the media outlet as being archetypal to that of an ex-girlfriend "who is convinced that the object of her affection still loves her."
"She's wound her way into every fabric of [Klaus'] being, and she compares all other women to herself. She has an arrogant interpretation of Klaus' affection, which I find hysterical," the showrunner was quoted by TVLine as saying.
In another development, the synopsis from The Futon Critic for the episode titled "Savior" said that Vincent will now try to determine if he made the right choice keeping out of the witch business after he had a rough time with Marcel. Hayley, on her part, will attempt to spend a "quiet Christmas" with Jackson and baby Hope. However, things will change when an "unexpected surprise" arrives.
Find out how these events unfold when "The Originals" Season 3 airs this Thursday, Dec. 10 at 9 p.m. on The CW.
