'The Vampire Diaries' Season 7 spoilers: Stefan Helps Damon As He Struggles to Move On

The upcoming episode of "The Vampire Diaries" season 7 will show Stefan helping his brother Damon with his struggles.

Titled "Postcards From the Edge," the episode will focus on Stefan doing his best to save Damon. Reports by Carter Matt reveal that Damon, played by Ian Somerhalder, will still be struggling with the absence of Elena.

The previous season of "The Vampire Diaries" saw the exit of Elena, played by Nina Dobrev. With that, fans were able to see Damon heartbroken since he was separated from the love of his life. Because of that, the upcoming episode will continue showing his journey of grief.

According to the Official Website of "The Vampire Diaries," the synopsis for the episode reads, "When his experience in the Phoenix stone leads him to do the unthinkable, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) finds himself without a care in the world, spiraling out of control and under the influence of a dangerous and reckless Julian (guest star Todd Lasance). Refusing to give up on his brother, Stefan (Paul Wesley) attempts to reason with Damon only to uncover the devastating reason for his descent."

However, Damon will not be the only one faced with challenges in the episode to come. It was revealed that Caroline, played by Candice King, will also have some trouble with her pregnancy. With that, she will seek help from Valerie, played by Elizabeth Blackmore.

As for Bonnie, Nora, and Mary Louise, they will have trouble ahead as well as they try to locate Rayna, played by Leslie Anne Huff. It was stated that Rayna is a vampire hunter who will cause problems for the group.

With that, fans can expect a packed episode ahead. "The Vampire Diaries" season 7 episode 12 is expected to air on The CW this Feb. 12.
