'The Walking Dead' Star Norman Reedus Gets Bitten by Female Fan at Zombie Convention
"The Walking Dead" actor Norman Reedus reportedly got bitten by a female superfan during a zombie convention last weekend.
Norman Reedus attended the Walker Stalker Con in New Jersey as a guest last weekend when a female fan suddenly bit him on the chest. Fortunately, the 46-year-old star of "The Walking Dead" series was not injured and was in no need of any medical intervention, according to a TMZ report cited by People.
The Walker Stalker Con is a convention for zombie, sci-fi, and horror fans, the report adds.

Undead Walking narrates how the fan paid for a photo op with Norman Reedus and Michael Rooker during the said convention when she suddenly "lost her mind." She first told Reedus that she likes pretending that both of them were a married couple, and then she was so overcome by her excitement that she bit the actor on the chest, the Inquisitr reports.
Reedus did not press charges against the female fan, but TMZ said she is no longer allowed to attend all Walker Stalker conventions in the future. She is also banned from other sponsored events that Reedus will be present, the report details.
In the wake of what happened, the chest-biting fan reportedly posted a photo of her posing beside Reedus on Instagram. The image was accompanied by a caption describing how she met the "love of her life" and got banned from all Walker Stalker Cons because of what she did.
"Got so excited standing beside him... & just turned my head and bit him! I don't know what came over me," People quotes from the fan's Instagram caption. "It wasn't my intention to hurt him. I'm sorry Norman!"
Meanwhile, Reedus himself seemed to have taken the matter lightly because he joked about it on Monday by posting an Instagram photo of himself wearing a shirt with "Do Not Bite Me" written on the front side.
"The Walking Dead" will return on Feb. 16, 2016 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
