Tim Tebow to Appear on 'Good Morning America' Friday
ESPN's new college football analyst, Tim Tebow, will help co-host ABC's "Good Morning America" on Friday as part of the show's weeklong lead-up to Sunday's Super Bowl XLVIII game in New Jersey between the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks.
Tebow, who was recently recruited as an analyst for ABC's sister network ESPN, will spend Friday morning with the rest of the "Good Morning America" hosts discussing the upcoming game, as well as participating with NFL All-Stars in a Super Bowl snack cook-off created by Chef Emeril Lagasse.
The morning talk show's Times Square studio has reportedly been decked out in a football theme and renamed the Super Bowl Boulevard that includes a concert stage, a Vince Lombardi Trophy exhibit and a toboggan run, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the first media outlet to report on Tebow's upcoming talk show appearance.

Tebow's presence on Friday's show will prove interesting as he will likely discuss the Denver Broncos, one of the teams playing in this weekend's Super Bowl. Tebow left the Broncos after the 2011 season and was replaced by now-quarterback Peyton Manning. Following his departure from the Broncos, Tebow spent a lackluster season with the New York Jets before playing a pre-season with the New England Patriots only to be dropped from their roster when the official season began.
In late December, ESPN announced that it had hired Tebow to be its new college football analyst for the SEC Network. With his new job, Tebow will travel to a new college campus each week to host a Saturday morning pre-show. Additionally, the 26-year-old athlete will contribute to other ESPN sports programs such as "SportsCenter" and ESPN Radio.
The former Florida Gators quarterback had his debut as an ESPN analyst at the BCS Championship game on Jan. 6, although he didn't go very in-depth into sports analysis. Tebow will make another appearance for the SEC Network in August when Texas A&M and South Carolina open the 2014 college football season.
Tebow has made it clear that although he is grateful for his new job, he still wishes to play in the NFL again. "I feel like I'm the best that I've ever been as a quarterback right now, and I hope I get the opportunity to show that," Tebow told reporters in early January, adding that he still exercises and practices five times a week.
The former quarterback added that he hopes to bring his positive disposition to his new analyst gig, saying, "I would love to continue to be someone that is positive but also be someone that is objective. I have never had a hard time saying what I believe or standing up for something." Tebow has made a name for himself in the evangelical community as being a faithful and pronounced Christian who coined the term "Tebowing," or taking a knee for prayer on a field during a game.
Along with Tebow, "Good Morning America" saw another great NFL player appear on their show this week. New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning, younger brother to Peyton Manning, stopped by the show on Wednesday to help co-host and discuss the upcoming Super Bowl.
"Good Morning America" will air Friday at 7 a.m. eastern time.
