Tim Tebow Tutored at UCLA; QB Causes Frenzy on Campus

Tim Tebow, after being tutored by quarterbacks coach Noel Mazzone, has started a frenzy on the UCLA campus in Los Angeles.

Tim Tebow is fine-tuning his craft at UCLA, which has been noticed by the people around the Westwood campus this week. UCLA football coach Jim L. Mora said that the Bruins' campus has been struck by Tebowmania, according to ESPN.

"There's a little Tebowmania going on here on the UCLA campus," Mora said. "There's a few more girls hanging around the football office and the football field that there typically are."

While UCLA is stricken by Tebowmania, the third-year Denver Broncos quarterback is focusing on improving his throwing mechanics. He is being tutored by UCLA offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, Noel Mazzone and his son, Taylor Mazzone. He has been working with Mazzone twice a day for the past week, while reporting back to Denver Broncos quarterbacks coach, Adam Gase.

Tebow completed less than 50 percent of his passes in 2011 and was more of a threat to run than to throw down the field. He has been criticized for his throwing motion and poor footwork. However, Mazzone says he is working on his craft.

"He's obviously a guy that wants to get better, like they all do," Mazzone said. "And wants to kind of become good at his craft and his craft is being an NFL quarterback."

He added that Tebow loves to compete and likes to get better at what he does.

Mazzone has worked with Tim Tebow in the past, according to the Fox News. He also helped him work on his fundamentals when he left the University of Florida for the NFL in 2010. John Elway has also made plans to work with Tebow in the off-season.

All-pro quarterback Phillip Rivers also worked out with Mazzone at UCLA on Thursday. He was joined by Minnesota Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder and Arizona State quarterback Brock Osweiler.
