Toshiba Introduces New Ice Cream Sandwich Tablet With TV Tuner
Toshiba unveiled a new tablet in Germany this week that possess a unique feature not found on many devices in the market.
This new tablet, introduced as the AT330 at the Toshiba World 2012 event in Bonn, Germany, features a 13.3-inch display and Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich.
But what makes this tablet more unique is that it also has a built in TV tuner. It is one of the first mobile devices to actually posses an antenna that extends from the body, allowing users to receive various television channels.

The device is double the size of the company's AT270.
Another exciting feature is its Tegra 3 quad-core processor. This chip definitely gives the device a significant speed boost, providing Toshiba with a bit of an advantage over the competition.
Other features on the AT330 include a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 1.3-megapixel front camera, an HDMI port and slots for a SIM and full-size SD card.
Toshiba did not release any information on pricing and availability.
The AT330 is said to run incredibly smooth. The model that was unveiled possesses 32GB of internal memory.
Tech Radar weighed in the on new antenna feature stating that it appeared to be quite "flimsy," resembling the ones that were included in the old time portable TVs. And just like those devices that were popular around 30 years ago, it will be tough to get a good television signal on the tablet.
The site also said that customers should expect the AT330 to come with a high price tag thanks to all of these special features along with ICS and a quad-core processor.
Toshiba will have to face off with the extremely successful iPad 3 whenever the company decides to launch the new tablet.
So far Apple has reportedly sold over 3 million units of the new iPad.
