UFC Fight News 2015: Michael Bisping Takes a Shot at Next Opponent Anderson Silva on Drug Use
UFC fighter Michael Bisping is no stranger to overhyping his fights, the clear purpose is to generate interest. There have been several fighters known for this style, but he took it a little further this time by taking a shot at former middleweight titleholder Anderson Silva, who happens to be his next opponent in the main event of UFC Fight Night 83 on Feb. 27 next year.
The frank and brash British fighter became a trending topic on Twitter when he posted:

The tweet was made by Bisping just hours after Ultimate Fighting Championship President Dana White announced that the two will be fighting next year. Fans will now feast on this one as the Brazilian Silva will certainly fire back.
Silva is returning from a long suspension handed out by the Nevada Athletic Commission when he failed in two drug tests conducted after his decision win in UFC 183 against Nick Diaz. According to his lawyer, Silva was innocent of any wrongdoing because the banned substance "drostanolone" was an ingredient of a tainted sexual enhancement supplement he used.
Bisping's jab at Silva is centered on this controversy. Although not everyone believes Silva about his claim, there in fact have been several reported cases in the past when sexual enhancement products indeed contain those prohibited or controlled substances.
Silva claimed that the product he took came from a friend, who later told him that it was purchased in Thailand and that the only reason why he got it from the Southeast Asian country is because it was not available in the United States at that time.
No one can blame Bisping though; he's been in the Octagon with fighters who later were found to have used performance-enhancing drugs. He definitely does not want Silva to have that kind of advantage once they meet in the Octagon next year.
