Underwood and Swift Feud Rumors Dismissed

Carrie Underwood has dismissed speculation about tension between she and fellow singer Taylor Swift this week.

Two of country music's biggest stars, Underwood, 29, was reportedly "rude" to 23-year-old Swift.

"Taylor feels Carrie is always rude to her, so she steers clear of her," a source close to Swift revealed to Us Weekly.

When asked about the reported discord, Underwood brushed off any knowledge of it while on "CBS This Morning."

"No, not that I know of at least," said the "Blown Away" singer.

Furthermore, Underwood noted her admiration for Swift and named her favorite song by her country music contemporary.

"I really like 'I Knew You Were Trouble,'" the singer told CBS' Gayle King. "It sounded a lot different for her. I liked the branching out, trying some different sounds."

Meanwhile, both blonde singers performed during Sunday's 55th Annual Grammy Awards.

Swift opened the award ceremony with her hit song "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" wearing a white top hat and tails. The performance also included men on stilts, ballerinas, and dancers dressed as rabbits.

Alternately, Underwood later took the stage in a white satin gown that literally lit up during her performance of "Blown Away." Images were actually digitally projected onto her dress during the performance, creating an optical illusion that wowed audience members and television viewers alike.

"They can do a lot of amazing things with projectors these days," said the singer backstage, according to Entertainment Tonight. "We had a dress especially made."

"I said I should take that home and we can watch movies on it at home," Underwood added jokingly. "You wanna watch movies on my dress?"

The singer earned the Grammy Award for Best Country Solo Performance with her song "Blown Away," marking her sixth Grammy trophy.
