'Vikings' Season 4 Spoilers: Rollo and Ragnar Head to Head Again
The upcoming episode of "Vikings" Season 4 will show Ragnar's struggles as a leader.
Episode 8, titled "Portage," will illustrate the downfall of Ragnar, portrayed by Travis Fimmel. The previous episode had Ragnar and his group attempting to raid Paris. Unfortunately, not all went accordingly to plan.
Ragnar's brother, Rollo, played by Clive Standen, was seen claiming his loyalty to France and fighting against his brother. Rollo was able to defgend Paris from Ragnar's raid. This led to Bjorn, played by Alexander Ludwig, unsatisfied with his father's actions. It was stated that Bjorn and the rest of the Northmen will be seen skeptical about Ragnar as their leader, especially since after the unsuccessful attack.

In addition, King Harald, played by Peter Franzen, will also begin plotting his way to Ragnar's crown and thorn. Ragnar's most recent actions will work to King Harald's advantage, since the people of Ragnar's kingdom are currently questioning his position as leader.
However, the synopsis stated by Hollywood Hills revealed that Ragnar will have a plan of his own. The synopsis read, "Ragnar's leadership is going to get called into question after their defeat, evacuation and retreat down-river. Although, he will have a plan that he is going to keep under wraps. Rollo and Gisla are going to have information that will strengthen Rollo's position at the French court, while Count Odo will be slow to identify his true enemies, which could have serious consequences."
There are theories that Ragnar will find a new way to attack Rollo. Fans speculate that this will consist of carrying a water craft on land in order to get through Rollo's defense. However, there has yet to be any specific details about waht Ragnar will pursue in the episode to come. With that, fans can expect Rollo and Ragnar to continue going head to head.
"Vikings" Season 4 Episode 8 will air on the History Channel April 7.
