Wendy Williams Insults Beyonce: 'She Has A Fifth Grade Education'

Wendy Williams recently angered Beyonce fans after suggesting that the Grammy award-winning singer is uneducated.

The controversial talk show host and self-proclaimed Beyonce fan weighed in on Beyonce's upcoming self-directed HBO documentary about the singer's life. She told audience members of her talk show that she would be watching it with closed captioning because she believes that Beyonce lacks articulation.

"I am a Beyonce fan. I'm gonna watch her upcoming documentary because fortunately one of the TVs in our kitchen has closed captioning so I'll be able to understand what she says. You know Beyonce can't talk. She sounds like she has a fifth grade education," Williams told stunned audience members.

As the audience began to boo Williams, 48, the unapologetic TV host quickly defended her statements.

"Excuse me, I just said I was a fan. But we have to call a spade a spade!" she said.

This is not the first time that Williams has made offensive comments about Beyonce. In 2011 she openly criticized the singer's pregnancy and insinuated that her baby bump was fake.

Beyonce previously sat down for an interview with Australian journalist Molly Meldrum and a video of the interview showed the pregnant singer preparing to sit in her seat. However, as she did, her baby bump appeared to deflate, and the video immediately fueled speculation that her baby bump was artificial.

"What is that? Is that a baby bump? I don't know ... I can tell you when I would get out of bed and sit up at the kitchen table I wouldn't be able to sit like that," Williams said while analyzing the video on her talk show.

"I was too concerned about my back and the baby. Even at five months, I sat like this," Williams went on while dramatically demonstrating how she sat during her own pregnancy.

While Beyonce's representative has not yet responded to Williams' statements regarding the singer's education, the rep previously dismissed the baby bump comments as "stupid, ridiculous and false."
