Many have heard about the color known as purple. It is found on the skin of assorted kids entertainment figures, royal robes, and certain sports teams.
But did you know that in some places, including that Lone Star State known as Texas, that the color purple also means no trespassing?

According to a recently filed news segment from a local outlet KETK, many have been known to paint the hue on posts, fences, etc. as a sign of thou shall not pass.
It even has its own name: "No Hunting Purple."
In Texas, the coloring was a legal precedent established back in the 1990s to remedy the issue of having to constantly replace signs that overtly mentioned the restriction.
So if you're in rural Texas and see an area that has sprayed painted purple lines at least eight inches tall, you better not pass.
