Wii U Bundle for The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker HD Includes Themed Gamepad and Box (VIDEO)

The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD bundle for the Wii U is helping Nintendo push out consoles due the popularity of the game series and the great perks that come with the package.

The game is a remake of one for Gamecube, which was hugely popular back then, two consoles ago.

For people who never experienced the game before it will be their "first time that they'll discover Wind Waker and we're treating the game as a triple-A new release," product manager Roger Langford told MCV.

The Wind Waker bundle is retailing for $299.99, and includes: a decorated Legend of Zelda inspired Gamepad featuring designs and lettering from the game, a digital download code for The Legend of Zelda Hyrule Historia, a digital download code for the game in the eShop, which will not be available for physical or online purchase until Oct. 4, and a collective Legend of Zelda-themed box.

Nintendo is also rolling out a few Wii U bundles starting at $320 in Japan, and those offers could come state-wide this holiday season.

The first package goes for $352 and will contain New Super Mario Bros U, Wii Party U, and Wii Fit U. It will launch on Oct. 31, and also offer the same package minus Wii Fit U for $320.

The Wii Fit U bundle is the same price, includes the same games, but adds a sensor bar, Fit Meter, and a Wiimote.

Each of the bundles give the buyer a choice between having a Wii U in black or white, and all the software comes pre-installed according to Polygon. it will also contain a 30-day subscription to Karaoke U.

The 32 GB Wii U is now $299 after launching at $349 starting Sept. 20.
