Willy Wonka-Inspired Choco Factory to Crash Later This Year in Orlando
Ever since the world was introduced to Willy Wonka's world, there have been dreams of one day possibly entering that realm and to somehow bring those dreams into the real world, Universal Studios Orlando is building a Wonka-inspired chocolate factory for the world to experience.
Called the "Toothsome Chocolate Factory," it is set to grace Orlando's Universal CityWalk later this year. While the diner will also serve burgers, sandwiches, salads, steaks, and other delicacies, it will feature desserts meant for the sweet-tooth.
According to Universal Orlando's blog, sweet-toothed fans should try out sundaes that will surely be summer favorites. Some of the flavors include Salted Caramel Flan, Chocolate Brownie Bark, and the all-time favorite: S'mores. The sundaes are like no other as they are packed with graham crackers, chocolate ice cream, and other mouth-watering delights.
Go back in time and recall the chocolate lakes in Willy Wonka's (Johnny Depp) awesome factory with the milkshakes that could possibly match the iconic villain's products. The milkshakes are called Chocolate x5, Bacon Brittle, Espresso Buzzzz, Red Velvet, and Key Lime Pie. Since the given names are only a "sneak peek" of some shakes offered by the factory, there are still more to come.
Aside from chocolate and oozing caramel, some of the shakes are adorned with pretzels, chocolate-dipped bananas, wafer sticks, and nuts. For those who may not want to sip into the milky goodness, Toothsome has other solutions to ease quench the thirst at any time of the year.
Dig in to the richness of cream puffs on top of chocolate and vanilla ice cream drizzled additional strawberries for a fresh and fruity dessert. Loaded banana splits are also available for group dates.
Some of the photos in the blog show toppings that give justice to the chocolate-themed restaurant as loads of chocolate top shakes and other desserts. From choco bits, strawberries, whipped cream, and other varieties, visitors will sure enjoy their stay.
There is no official date announced yet regarding the diner's opening but it is expected to start serving "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" inspired desserts before 2016 ends.
