'X-Men: Apocalyse' Spoilers: Who will die?

The upcoming "X-Men" film could be bidding farewell to one of its iconic characters.

A promotional teaser was revealed, teasing the death of an "X-Men" member. Marvel's new release showed the words "Death of X," which had fans worried for their favorite "X-Men" characters."

With that, fans have theorized on who the teaser could be referring to. The first that come to mind would be Professor X. This could be due to the intensity of the film's new villain. However, other suggestions state that Wolverine could be in danger. This is likely since Hugh Jackman has become too old to portray the role, now that there is a younger cast playing the rest of the characters.

Meanwhile, recent teaser for the upcoming "X-Men: Apocalyse" film have been revealed. It was stated that Empire magazine has exclusively released several images from the installment. The photos include stills of Angel, played by Ben hardy, as well as En Sabah Nur, played by Oscaar Isaac.

In the photos, Angel was seen opening his wings above Berlin, where a fight was to happen. Set photos and trailers have hinted at the scene, revealing that there is to be much chaos in the upcoming installment. As for the film's new villain, En Sabah Nur, also known as the Apocaplyse, was seen using his powers to take on several characters of the "X-Men." The trailer revealed Apocalypse having the capability to control characters such as Magneto, Storm and Psylocke.

Aside from the two characters, Empire also posted photos of the new costumes for the film. With that, fans can expect the "X-Men" dressed in a new set of attire as they take on the first mutant of the world. The photos show "Game of Thrones" star Sophie Turner taking on the role of Jean Grey, in her new "X-Men" uniform.

"X-Men: Apocalyse" is expected to hit theaters this May 27.
