Xbox One X Games News: 170 Games Getting Enhanced For The World's Most Powerful Console
The Xbox One X is definitely living up to the hype as the most powerful console ever with more games getting enhanced in terms of resolution and performance in the lead up to its November release date. This definitely quells earlier fears that there will only a negligible amount of games able to take advantage of the console's specs upon release.
When pre-orders of the console went live back in August, the console already had about 100 enhanced games listed. Now there are 170 and that number is expected to increase as more titles get added all the time.
Forbes has compiled all the games that received enhancements for the Xbox One X the majority of which now have 4K resolution and many feature HDR. Some games also received enhancements such as Resolution and quality modes, dynamic resolution toggle, 9x original pixel counts, and more.

One such game is "Titanfall 2," the hit first-person shooter developed Respawn Entertainment. According to the game's lead producer Drew McCoy, the title will be able to not only output a 4K signal, but dynamically alter the resolution based on GPU load to ensure smooth framerates.
The Xbox One X version will also get a feature previously exclusive to the PC version: dynamic superscaling. Using dynamic superscaling, the game ensures that it uses 100 percent of the console's GPU letting none of its power go to waste.
"'Titanfall 2' on Xbox One X is a substantially clearer/sharper image presentation," McCoy said. "Players will notice lots of little details in the world and it maintains the fluid 60 fps framerate needed for smooth gameplay more often so you won' see any frame rate drops even with a bunch of 20 foot Titans battling it out at once."
The Xbox One X is set to be released on Nov. 7 for $500 in the US. Pre-orders are currently available at the official Xbox website and select retailers.
