Joy Comes in The Morning: The JOY Collection

hoodie-1250

Over the past year, the words “unprecedented times” and “loneliness” have been spoken and written a countless number of times. Our ears have become numb to the noise of the world during this pandemic, and it’s understandable why. Now, it marks over a year that this virus has taken the world by storm. For many of us, this has not only been a year of social distancing and quarantine–it has been a year of not being able to see many of our loved ones and friends.

As Christians, however, we are told to rejoice always.

If you are like me, you may think it is ironic to be joyful and praising God during times when it seems like the whole world is falling apart. You might be blaming God for things not going according to our plans. For me, it is my college planning process. For my parents, it is the ongoing job insecurity. Perhaps for all of us, it is a continuous struggle to adapt to this “new normal” which seems to be never-ending.

I empathize with these feelings of doubt, anxiety, and fear. I feel the pain that you feel. Nevertheless, I also recognize the power and plans God has for us that we may not yet be aware of. I understand that however difficult times may seem currently, the best is yet to come.

The Bible says, “However, as it is written: ‘What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived’—the things God has prepared for those who love him” (1 Corinthians 2:9).

To celebrate this, Elevated Faith has recently launched their JOY collection, with pieces that are subtle, yet simultaneously eye-catching conversation starters. During times like this, sharing God’s Word with others is more important than ever before. When the whole world is mourning, we as Christians, have a responsibility to share the same joy that God brings to us.

With pieces like their ‘The Best Is Yet To Come’ hoodie, we can tell others about what God has taught us regarding being hopeful in times of doubt and suffering. We are able to strike up conversations with non-believers and believers alike about how the Spirit is always with us, through the highs and the lows. In the same light, the ‘We’re In This Together’ crewneck is a great way to bring light to those around you as we are all united as God’s fearfully and wonderfully made creations.

The ‘Joy Comes In The Morning’ crewneck is the perfect homage to Psalm 30, where David cries out to the Lord in the temple. He says, “For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime.

Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning” (Psalm 30:5). Like Jesus’s last words on the cross, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit (Luke 23:46),” David knows that even in times of suffering, he can turn to the Father.

God calls us to be joyful amidst times of uncertainty and during periods of our life that seem to be pure chaos. We rest assured, knowing that whatever struggles in our present pale in comparison to God’s love for us. While we might be fighting internal battles in our everyday lives, we know that our victory is in Jesus. The battles have already been won through He who saved us.

Hey there! I’m Josh Gander, the founder of Elevated Faith. Our team is on a mission to share purpose, hope, and love to a lost world. Here is my story. Back in early 2015, just weeks after dropping out of college, I found myself in a difficult and lonely place. I realized that I was chasing the wrong things over the past couple of years in my personal life and in business, and I finally gave in to God’s constant nudges.

All my life, I knew my purpose was to influence people positively and share truth with others. My faith in God was what I valued most, and I wanted desperately for all the world to hear about what He has done for them. But I didn’t know how, or what my role in His plan would be.
