Wear Scriptures is dedicated to spreading the gospel of our LORD Jesus Christ with Christian clothing and accessories. Each design encourages Christians to be bold and courageous for the gospel.

John 3:16-17 says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him,” (NIV). The essence of the gospel is all about God’s great love for mankind, His creation. Many people have an erroneous perception and belief in God. They see God as uncaring and indifferent to the affairs of men. They point to the various wars, poverty, suffering, hatred and violence that have and continue to occur in this world.

Some individuals get their erroneous view of God from hearing stories of God and His interaction with mankind in the Old Testament. One individual I spoke with, could not understand why God would allow Abraham to put his child, Isaac, through so much trauma of being placed within an inch of his life being taken. He described God as a “mythical being in the sky. What kind of God would allow that?”

The story of Abraham and Isaac found in Genesis 22, is a type or a shadow of what God, the Father, was going to do and did for mankind. At the appointed time, He sent His Son, Jesus, to be sacrificed for us, so that we did not have to pay the penalty for our sins. God stopped Abraham from sacrificing his son Isaac, but He did not relent in allowing His Son, Jesus, to be sacrificed for mankind’s sins. What great love God has shown towards us.

1 John 4:9-10 says, “In this the love of God was made manifest (displayed) where we are concerned: in that God sent His Son, the only begotten or unique (Son), into the world so that we might live through Him. In this is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation (the atoning sacrifice) for our sins,” (AMPC). Be Loved. Be a voice for the gospel. Wear Scriptures and show God’s love today.
