13 Hurt in D.C. Shooting: Investigators Hunting Shooters From 2 Cars (VIDEO)
13 people have been hurt in a D.C. shooting, including one seriously, after a drive by shooting took place outside an apartment early on Monday morning.
The shooting reportedly took place just before 3 a.m. local time when gunmen from two separate cars opened fire on a crowd standing around outside a nightclub.
Surveillance footage is now being looked at by investigators for clues as to who the shooters may have been.

A video has also been released to the public, in the hope that someone might recognize something and be able to come forward with more information. Officers are hopeful that someone might be able to help them locate an older model BMW, as well as a light or grey sedan.
Out of the 13 people injured in the drive by shooting, one was seriously hurt - that person was shot in the back. All other 12 victims are said to be stable and none of their injuries are thought to be serious.
Detectives have still not been able to identify a motive for why the shooting took place.
A video camera at the intersection of North Capitol Street and New York Avenue showed multiple gunshots being fired from two cars that then quickly sped away.
"We have confirmed that we have 11 individuals that are injured. We have mostly gunshot wounds to the legs, extremities, hands, some graze wounds," Metropolitan Police Chief Cathy Lanier said during a morning news conference.
Reports indicate that a large group of people were gathered outside a club when a dark-colored car, followed by a lighter-colored car, drove by the group. As the cars passed the crowed street corner, they began to fire indiscriminately into the crowd before racing off.
"Everybody was screaming," Jonique Douglas, 21, told WTOP. "They shooting like directly at us … it coulda been a bloody mess."
