'19 Kids And Counting' News, Update: Show Getting Revived; Family Receives Flak From Neighbors

The hints are clear as day: the Duggar family of the hit reality TV series from TLC, "19 Kids and Counting," will definitely be coming back to the airwaves. However, it seems like their TV comeback is not everyone's cup of tea.

Entertainment Tonight Online cited one of their sources telling them that the family of devout Independent Baptists has been spotted filming "for a few months now." In fact, they were reportedly seen being followed by a camera crew while they were shopping at a store.

The person in the know, however, failed to point out if the scenes they shot were for a special or for the show itself, "19 Kids and Counting," which stars the whole clan headed by Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar.

According to the report, the people near their home in Springdale, Arkansas, were "angry" to know that the family is going back to the small screen.

"There is a lot of hate regarding the family. After all that has happened, this isn't the same family in many people's eyes," a source for ET was quoted as saying.

Giving further details about the claim, In Touch said that the TLC crew were particularly following the 18-year-old family member, Joy-Anna Duggar, who was out and about with a friend.

"A camera crew was with them when they arrived in the parking lot, and another cameraman was waiting for them inside the supermarket," a tipster for the publication recounted. "They were shopping for supplies for a party Sierra was organizing. The film crew included one of the people who used to film for '19 Kids and Counting.'"

"19 Kids and Counting" began on September 29, 2008. The series documented the life of the Duggars, a family known for their values of purity, modesty, and faith in God.

On May 22, 2015, the network suspended the show when a scandal, involving the eldest Duggar son, Josh, broke out in public. July 16 saw the official cancellation of the show.
