2016 Grammy Awards Predictions: Taylor Swift Remains Strong
In just a few days, fans and stars alike will finally get to witness the declaration of winners in for the 2016 Grammy Awards, and despite being toppled in the most number of nominations this year, Taylor Swift is strong in the list of winner predictions.
Kendrick Lamar has claimed the most number of nominations, garnering 11 nominations in various categories, while Swift, who is already expected to win big this year, gained 7 nominations.
While it would seemingly be difficult to break the records of "Uptown Funk" and "Thinking Out Loud," it is impossible to not see "Blank Space" win at least one category. It would also be reasonable to put "1989" as the closest contender against Lamar's "To Pimp a Butterfly." After all, "Shake It Off" is the only song in the album that can't be eligible to enter the competition.

Meanwhile, The Weeknd is putting up a good fight against other big titles and performers, and experts predict that "Can't Feel My Face" will bag the gold in one of the categories that it was listed on.
As for the duets, Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars are definitely on it. Swift and Lamar are also some of the biggest foes, but as every "Fast and Furious" or Paul Walker fan already knows, it would be heartbreaking to discover during awards night that Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth won't win the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance award.
While the world of pop has some really good competition going on, it seems the rockers are already raising their hands for Alabama Shakes' "Don't Wanna Fight."
New artists are said to be the toughest to predict as a lot of things happen before the Awards night, and a lot of times, those predicted either don't get the Best New Artist award or are second-best. This year, though, the competition isn't very difficult as some outlets suggest that Meghan Trainor can most likely beat out the rest of the nominees for "All About That Bass."
The 58th Grammy Awards will be hosted by LL Cool J and will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on Feb. 15.
