2016 Hyundai Tucson to Be Unveiled at 2015 SEMA in November
The 2016 Hyundai Tucson is scheduled to be unveiled at the 2015 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) this November.
The South Korean carmaker is gearing up for the revelation of the all-new 2016 Hyundai Tucson, which will be dubbed Adventuremobile. Taking its cue from the name, the new Tucson will be a model tailor-fitted for outdoor use, according to Yibada.
The 2016 Hyundai Tucson will feature modified powertrain, suspension, and chassis. The new car will now have an AEM Intake and Charge Pipe Kit, plus Magnaflow Exhaust to give its engine more breathing room and the car more power. The suspension modification will make the car 1.5 inches higher from the ground compared to its predecessor. In addition, the Tucson will come with Toyota Open Country A/T tires and Rays Gram Lights wheels for better off-road driving experience, the report details.

The result of the modifications is a quieter and more comfortable ride. These factors are important in an SUV, The Auto Channel reports.
Its interior and exterior appearance will also have a few changes. The new Tucson will now have a custom BASF army green color and its front bumper will come with an Aries Bull Bar. It will also be able to carry camping materials with the addition of a platform on the roof.
The 2016 Tucson's front seats are now equipped with side support in the form of an arm rest between the two seats and two cup holders. As for the rear seats, passengers will be able to enjoy ample legroom with the addition of "knee indents" in the back portion of the front seats. Tech geeks will also be delighted with the USB and AUX outlets, plus a space for smaller things such as smartphone or sunglasses, the report adds.
Another positive thing worth mentioning about the 2016 Hyundai Tucson is the easy accessibility of controls and switches. The driver can also choose among three drive mode settings — normal, eco, and sport — depending on preferences.
Under the hood, the 2016 Tucson has a 2.0-liter engine capable of putting out a maximum of 175 horsepower. The car also features front-wheel driving and a six-speed automatic transmission.
The 2016 Hyundai Tucson, which comes with a price tag of $25,170, will be officially unveiled on Nov. 3 at the SEMA in Las Vegas.
