2016 Presidential Polls Update: Clinton Has The Lead On Trump in New Poll
A new poll from MSNBC/Telemundo/Marist reveals that Democrat Hillary Clinton leads the general-election communities as she puts Republican front-runner Donald Trump behind by 11 points.
Clinton made it to the top with 11 points above Trump with 52 percent compared to the businessman's 41 percent in the registered voters category. What's more interesting is the support she obtained from Latino voters that gave her a staggering 42 points lead, at 69 percent compared to Trump's 27 percent.
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is closer to Clinton in the national realm with only 7 points behind, the senator obtaining 44 points compared to Clinton's 51 points. Latinos gave the former secretary of state 61 percent and Cruz 34 percent.

With just one point behind Clinton, Ben Carson seems to be rejoicing as the poll reveals that in a national point of view, the retired neurosurgeon is the one who could go head-to-head with the Democrat.
The poll surveyed 2,360 registered voters at a margin of error of plus-minus 2.0 percentage points, while 264 Latino voters were surveyed with a margin of error of plus-minus 6.0 percentage points.
With Clinton's lead over Trump, it seems the business mogul is starting to see his support fall back, especially since Carson has boosted his run and emerged second to Clinton. It also comes as a shock to some Republicans who believe that they will finally see a House full of their own.
On the other hand, there are still a good number of months to go before general elections and the results in upcoming polls could change, meaning Clinton's lead could possibly fluctuate, just as Trump's figures saw a gradual fall in the previous polls.
It is worth noting that Trump remains on top of the Republican party and previous polls showed him leading his co-Republicans by over 10 points, and some at even 20 points. However, it seems that outside the Republican territory, Trump may not be the general people's choice after all.
