'Agent Carter' Season 2 Episode 3 Spoilers: Peggy's Life Gets Threatened In LA
ABC's "Agent Carter" will be back in action this week to continue its second season with another brand new, action-packed episode titled "Better Angels."
According to the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic, Peggy's (Hayley Atwell) quest to find more information about the Zero Matter drives her to a collision course with her superiors as Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper) gets involved.
The promo video shared by the network for the episode opens up with the lab explosion in the Season 2 back-to-back premiere. Carter can then be seen insisting to someone that they have to "dig deeper" and uncover the truth about the accident which happened to be caused by no mere mishap.

Stark returns and appears a bit displeased with Peggy's current predicament. But the femme fatale blurted out that "there's a conspiracy afoot." The highlight reel then featured Hope Lauren's blonde character with whom the voice-over hinted to be Peggy's "most lethal enemy." When the latter asked the SSR operative what she thinks is going on, Carter blurted out in a straight face that "things aren't what they seem."
Scenes then went on to reveal Carter's numerous disguises and a handful of new gadgets which she uses to accomplish her mission. Her ever trusted sidekick, Jarvis (James D' Arcy), can also be seen getting into the action with the kick-ass lady.
Speaking of the two, a sneak peek, which can be seen below, sees Jarvis talking to Carter who is quite engrossed with hitting the heavy bag. The butler wanted to know what's the deal with the punching. The lady explained it's "the best way to release frustrations of a given day." He volunteered to spar with her but it seems like he's changed his mind right away when the agent released a flurry of hits that evidently dented the bag.
As the video draws to a close, a man crept up behind the protagonist. She struggled to break free from the choke and the perpetrator held on to his grip. They eventually plunged into the water nearby.
Will Agent Carter survive the attack? Most of all, will she be able to get the identity of her attacker?
