'Agent Carter' Season 2 Spoilers: New Cities and New Enemies for Peggy
With the second season of "Agent Carter" soon approaching, fans are excited to see Agent Peggy Carter in her new city.
It was revealed that the second season of the Marvel series will be set in Hollywood. Titled "The Lady in the Lake," the premiere episode is expected to see Peggy heading to California to work with Chief Daniel Sousa, played by Enver Gjokaj. Peggy will be there to help solve a murder case, which will unite her with Edwin Jarvis, played by James D'Arcy.
According to ABC, the synopsis for the upcoming episode reads, "Peggy moves to the City of Angels to help Chief Daniel Sousa at the West Coast Strategic Scientific Reserve (SSR) investigate a bizarre homicide involving an alleged killer and Isodyne Energy, and reunites with some familiar faces."

However, the premiere will consist of another episode titled "A View in the Dark," which will put Peggy in grave danger. The synopsis states, "Peggy discovers her murder investigation has huge ramifications that can destroy her career, as well as everyone near and dear to her."
Meanwhile, it was hinted that the case could not be the only one bringing her trouble. There are speculations that Peggy's new rival, Madam Masque, played by Wynn Everett, could be bringing her some more challenges when the series returns.
Aside from Madam Masque, there are rumors that another villain could be present in "Agent Carter" season 2. It was reported that Radioactive Man, also known as Chen Lu, could be playing a role in the unfortunate happenings that will happen in the episodes to come.
With that, fans will have to wait a couple more weeks to see how Peggy will fare with her new environment and villains. "Agent Carter" season 2 is expected to premiere on ABC this Jan. 19.
