'Agent Carter' Season 2 Spoilers: Two-Part Special To See Peggy Tie Up With Old Enemy

ABC's hit Marvel TV drama series "Agent Carter" Season 2 returns this week with back-to-back, all-new episodes that will find the titular heroine (Hayley Atwell) striking an alliance with an unlikely person as things start to get out of control. Meanwhile, the follow-up episode reveals this season's dreaded enemy getting more powerful than ever.

According to The Futon Critic, Episode 6 is called "Life of The Party." Here it is revealed that a dire situation will lead the SSR female agent to admit that she cannot save Wilkes (Reggie Austin) all by herself. The new development will prompt her to seek help from her "most unexpected adversary."

Earlier reports indicated that the character in question will be her Season 1 nemesis, the Russian spy Dottie Underwood (Bridget Regan). Perhaps with her assistance, they can finally pin down the elusive Whitney Frost (Wynn Everett) and gain additional information about the Zero Matter.

The problem, however, is that Dottie's still locked up. Once again, desperation will force Peggy to break protocol and snatch the convicted secret agent from prison. It would only be in this way that the two can work together to bring down the Hollywood superstar-turned-villain.

Viewers won't have to wait another week to find out what comes next in the action-packed drama. In the next hour, "Agent Carter" will roll out Episode 7 titled "Monsters."

TFC stated that the follow-up episode will find Peggy coming up with another rescue plan after what seems to be her and Dottie's failed mission in Episode 6. As to who could this person in distress be, fans are yet to find out.

This time around, Whitney also becomes increasingly powerful as she hunts for more of the unearthly matter.

Meanwhile, Peggy's trusty companion Jarvis (James D'Arcy) will get to learn his lesson never to make promises that he might not be able to keep.

Find out how these events unfold when "Agent Carter" Season 2 airs this Tuesday, Feb. 16, at 10 p.m. on ABC.
