'Agent Carter' Season 2 Trailer News: Jarvis Details What He Dislikes About California

ABC is now gearing up for the release of its highly-anticipated period action drama TV series "Agent Carter" which is slated to come out this January. Fans may already know that this time around, the new season will find the titular heroine (Hayley Atwell) in the sunny side of the states, California.

However, despite the promise of sunbathing, endless beach moments, and the exhilarating sessions at the casino, Agent Carter will be too busy taking on a new case that obviously would involve new challenges and meeting new villains.

Speaking of challenges, the Strategic Scientific Reserve operative will first have to deal with the city itself. That is at least based on the opinion of her trusty companion, Edwin Jarvis (James D'Arcy).

In a teaser video for Season 2 premiere shared over at YouTube.com, Jarvis talks blatantly on how he hates the city as they drive along one of its famous boulevards. At one point, Jarvis calls out the people of Los Angeles as rather "uncivilized."

"They eat avocados…with everything," Jarvis said with a rather emphatic tone. "The foliage is preposterous! Take the palm tree, would you trust the structure integrity of such a thing?"

He went on to point out the "unbearably hot" climate of the city which locals like to downplay as just "dry heat." What's more, he gets to poke on the irresponsible drivers who happen to be abundant in the streets.

Perhaps fans will get to discover and understand the cause of Jarvis' utter dislike for the jovial metropolis as the new season progresses.

For the meantime, "Agent Carter" Season 2 is slated to feature the acts of show newcomers like Wynn Everett (as Madame Masque), Lotte Verbeek (as Ana Jarvis), Currie Graham (as Calvin Chadwick), Reggie Austin (as Jason Wilkes), Kurtwood Smith (as Vernon Masters), and Ken Marino (as Joseph Manfredi).

The show airs Jan. 19 on ABC.
