'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Actress Chloe Bennet Begins Daisy Johnson 'Quake' Transformation for Season 3
Chloe Bennet, who plays Daisy "Skye" Johnson on "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," recently went through the first transformation into her Inhuman character, Quake. As preparation for her transition the actress had her long locks shorn into a short wavy bob.
In Season 2, Bennet's computer hacker character, Skye was revealed to have the birth name "Daisy Johnson," an Inhuman being possessing the power to cause earthquakes.
Bennet, 23, who has been a season regular since 2013 when the show premiered on ABC, has been gearing up for her much larger role in Season 3 with a dramatic new haircut to match the comic book character.

While the actress didn't go as far as a full pixie cut, her much shorter, wavier 'do is a departure from her longer than shoulder-length hairstyle she sported in the last two seasons as S.H.I.E.L.D. computer hacker, Skye.
The upcoming season of the series will feature Marvel's Secret Warriors after the preceding season's finale hinted at the super-powered agents recruited to start working with Nick Fury.
Season 3's first episode will likely introduce these Secret Warriors, beginning with Quake, who will be stepping up in a leadership role, while Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) begins to scour the globe to search for other super-powered potentials.
Bennet admitted she was nervous about cutting her long hair and told People Magazine her anxiety caused her to cry.
While the real comic book Quake sports short Miley Cyrus-esque style, Bennet agreed on a compromise that would allow more length and movement in her new haircut.
Whether Bennet will slowly transition into blunt-haired Quake during the next season with a series of shorter hairstyles will be revealed when Season 3 of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." premieres on Sept. 29.
