'Alaskan Bush People' News: Rainy Brown Gives Update Ami's Health

Despite being raised in her family's rugged lifestyle, it hasn't been an easy road for 14-year old Rainy Brown. The young "Alaskan Bush People" recently gave an update on her mother Ami's health, after she "spent all morning" with her last weekend.

"My mom and I spent all morning making our favorite peach tea and our own mix of essential oils together with coconut oil as a carrier and a touch of shimmer," she wrote. "She is now going through her second round of chemo, sadly I can't say how she is doing just yet, but we are all hopeful and faithful, thank you all so much for your support and love in this harsh time.

Her Instagram followers were quick to offer words of encouragements both to her and her mother. "Please give all of your family a very big hug and kiss from all of your fans. We think about all of you every day. And thank you so very much for the update on your precious mom. Love ya, girl," wrote one.

The youngest member of the "Alaskan Bush People" family, Rain also took to social media to discuss her mental health. She also opened up about her thoughts with regards to her mother's battle with stage 4 cancer.

"I don't care who you are. I don't care what you've been through. I don't care how old you are. If you hear that your mother has cancer, it's going to shock you," said Rain. "I just wish I could change it somehow. I'm very scared for her."

It was earlier reported that Ami and the Browns have closed their Alaskan homestead to move to California where she is currently undergoing treatment. However, recent updates regarding her health have been quite bleak. Nevertheless, the Brown matriarch remains optimistic despite having only a three percent chance of surviving.

"I realized early into this that it's very easy to want to give up and just die. And on the pessimist side, it could be my last days," she said. "But I have the will to fight."
