Alexis Bledel Engagement Ring: 'Mad Men' Co-Stars Celebrate

Former "Gilmore Girls" actress Alexis Bledel, who became engaged to "Mad Men" co-star Vincent Kartheiser last year, has debuted her engagement ring.

Bledel debuted the ring for the first time on Wednesday during a red carpet premiere for her new television movie "Remember Sunday." The actress appeared at the event wearing a black and white dress that elegantly highlighted her silhouette. Small slits at the waist of the dress also revealed a small amount of skin. To accessorize, Bledel carried a black clutch. She held the clutch in her left hand, allowing camera the opportunity to get a glimpse of the engagement ring on her finger.

The vintage-inspired ring featured a round-cut diamond attached to a platinum colored band. Us Weekly confirmed Bledel's engagement to Kartheiser last month.

"Vincent proposed a few weeks ago. She's been wearing her ring. It's huge!" Us Weekly reported in March.

Reports said last June that the couple had been "dating for a few months." While speaking of their recent engagement, a second source also spoke highly of the couple.

"They are so cute together!" the insider told the magazine.

Bledel was excited to show the ring off at Wednesday's event, saying that "Vincent picked it out." And when asked about the wedding plans, she said they are working on them as a couple.

"'We're doing it together," the actress revealed. "We haven't started yet though."

Before becoming engaged, Bledel suggested that it was normal for all couples that had been dating to discuss marriage.

"I think everybody who has been dating for more than a couple of years probably talks about it at some point. It's a fun thing for us to talk about, but that's it," she told People.
