Andrews, Oliver Shake Up at Fox: Erin Andrews Replaces Pam Oliver on NFL Sidelines
Erin Andrews is once again replacing a longtime television host on another program this year.
In March, Andrews replaced longtime "Dancing With The Stars" host Brooke Burke-Charvet on the ABC reality series. Tuesday, the 36-year-old television personality is taking over for longtime NFL on Fox sideline reporter Pam Oliver. In doing so, Andrews will join the number one team for NFL on Fox broadcasts, according to Sports Illustrated.
Oliver will mark her 20th year with Fox this season, but the reporter is surrendering her sideline duties to Andrews since the upcoming NFL season will focus on long-form pieces and Showtime specials. The reporter will instead join Fox's number two team on the sideline this season.

"I live in the real world and I know that television tends to get younger where women are concerned," Oliver said while discussing her replacement with SI. "Just turn on your TV. It's everywhere. And I'm not saying these younger girls don't deserve a chance. I know I've had my turn."
Oliver will continue to work as a sideline reporter on other Fox and Fox Sports 1 shows, such as Fox Sports Live and Fox Sports 1 and 1 and sports beyond the NFL. She will also continue to work as a sideline reporter this season with the announcing team of Kevin Burkhardt and analyst John Lynch. Despite leaving her post on the number one sideline team for NFL on Fox, Oliver revealed she has signed a multi-year contract with the network.
"Clearly it's an expanded role that meets the needs of all the big events that Fox and Fox Sports 1 covers as well as the NFL on Fox," Fox Sports president Eric Shanks said, according to SI. "I can't think of a more respected person in the entire industry than Pam Oliver, and when you find out that Pam is going to be doing the interview, I don't think you would say that anyone else would do the interview better. Her being a part of the Fox family now and in the future is really important to us."
Meanwhile, Andrews will take over on the sideline for Fox's top NFL team of Joe Buck and analyst Troy Aikman.
