'Angry Birds' Movie News: Red Partners up With the United Nations
The beloved mobile game "Angry Birds" has taken their fame to the next level.
It was reported that Red, a character from the "Angry Birds"game, made appearances all over the world in partnership with the United Nations (UN). The UN has been sending Red to different places in order to spread awareness on climate change. The iconic character is helping out by delivering ways to go about climate change.
The campaign is called #AngryBirdsHappyPlanet, which has the red bird on a global tour. It was stated that the tour began last weekend, with Jason Sudeikis, Maya Rudolph, and Josh Gad present to usher in the campaign. It is expected to end in Paris this Apr. 22.

Sudeikis, Rudolph, and Gad are expected to voice several characters for the upcoming "Angry Birds" movie. It was previously confirmed that the film will tell the origin story of the birds. The film will explain why the popular birds are angry at the devious pigs in the first place.
In order to excite fans of the video game, as well as celebrate Easter, the film released a teaser that featured cute little hatchlings. The adorable creatures provided an Easter greeting for fans in their sweet voices.
With that, fans have a lot of expectations for the upcoming animated film. Gad previous commended the beauty of the film's animation. He revealed that it was the reason why he decided to join the project. Sudeikis also spoke about what the message of the film will be.
According to Collider, he said, "We've gotten better at acting like anger doesn't exist, but it clearly still does. Letting it out, every now and then, actually is a healthy thing. May it never go too far, one way or the other. Don't hold it all the way in and don't let it all the way out, but a little toot of anger, every now and then, is a nice thing."
