Anna Duggar Speaks Out On Spouse Josh Duggar's Scandal, Desires Marriage To Be Restored

It's been months since the Ashley Madison and molestation scandal of "19 Kids and Counting" star Josh Duggar exploded all over the news. His wife, Anna Duggar, had been quiet about it for some time but has now spoken up through a three-episode spin-off show of sisters-in-law, Jill and Jessa Duggar.

In TLC's "Jill & Jessa: Counting On," Anna sat down to talk about the infidelity of her spouse. As noted in Glamour, at first, Anna found it hard to believe the reports about Josh having an Ashley Madison account. She said she was shocked and was clearly denial, thinking that she and her husband had a strong marriage.

But as it turned out, everything was true and accepting the truth was an even harder task for Anna. "It just felt like a bad dream; it didn't seem possible, and I was just like I'm going to wake up and everything is going to be OK and this can't be true," Anna said. She then wondered how it could happen in their marriage and cited how Josh was her first love.

She has also put an end to the weeks of speculations about divorcing Josh. According to Starcasm, the second installment of the show focuses on whether or not Anna had forgiven Josh. She recounted that during the birth of the issue, all she did was cling on to her deep faith and praying to God on how to respond to her tumultuous year.

When asked for the date Josh would be back from the Christian recovery program, Anna did not clarify when it would exactly be. She just mentioned that she will be alone for some time. And despite everything that her husband has done, Anna has addressed the divorce rumors so differently.

Although a lot of people are prodding her to walk away from their marriage, Anna said that she will keep her vow to God to love Josh for better or for worse. She says that in her heart and in her prayers, she wants their marriage to be restored.
