The iPad Pro boasts of a 12.9-inch LCD Retina Display with a resolution of 2732 x 2048 (264 ppi). It is very thin at just 0.27 inches and also very light at just 713 grams. The giant iPad runs the iOS 9 and the A9x chip with M9 motion coprocessor and is powered by a 10,307 mAh Li-Po battery, Gizmodo reports.

The device also sports an 8-megapixel rear snapper, 1.2-megapixel front camera, 4 GB of RAM, at least 32 GB of storage, and fingerprint sensor. The latest iPad comes with a starting price of $800, and the Apple Pencil and Keyboard are sold separately.
Despite the premium specs of the iPad Pro, users who expect the device to be a perfect laptop replacement are bound to be disappointed. Gizmodo reporter Darren Orf points out that the device can be appreciated more if consumers use it simply as a huge iPad. He said the iOS 9 is perfect for devices with bigger screens, and the iPad Pro's multitasking feature is a wonder to work with, the report relays.
Another setback in using a bigger iPad is that some apps are still not optimized for it, like Spotify and Apple's News App. The two are just examples of apps that work better on smaller screens. In addition, the iPad Pro does not have a tailored home screen, so the app icons appear to have a lot of dead space in between them, the report adds.
