Apple's Smaller iPhone '5se' Rumored to Be Released in March
Apple may be gearing up to launch a smaller and cheaper iPhone — the 5se — this coming March, and the device is expected to have a 4-inch display along with new features.
The iPhone 5se will have the same size as the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s. It will also come with better camera and other new features, including Live Photos and Apple Pay, according to The Telegraph.
Based on photos leaked over the weekend, the iPhone 5se will have the same round edges found in the iPhone 6. The power button, which is usually found on the top side, is seen on the right hand side of the device, the report details.

Other rumored specs and features are similar to those of the iPhone 6, including an 8-megapixel rear shooter and a 1.2-megapixel front camera. The design will also be reminiscent of the 4.5-inch iPhone, Fox News reports.
The rumored release of the iPhone 5se is expected to give Apple a good sales boost, especially at a time when the company seems to be in a state of lagging growth. The upcoming smaller iPhone may also be released alongside the Apple Watch 2, although the firm has not yet confirmed this.
This is not the first time that the Cupertino-based tech giant has opted to sell a cheaper device. In the past, it released the iPhone 5c that featured a plastic case and no Touch ID. Unfortunately, Apple has not created a "c" model after that because the unit achieved little success, the report relays.
The last two letters of the iPhone 5se reportedly stand for "special edition," as the smartphone is touted to be an upgraded version of the iPhone 5s. After the rumored unveiling in March, Apple will begin selling the device either by the end of that month of in April.
