'Arrow' Season 3 Spoilers: Caity Lotz Returning for New Season? Sara May Show 'Different Facets'
"Arrow" does not return to The CW until the fall, but fans can already look forward to seeing the return of some of their favorite characters.
The hit DC Comics-inspired televisions series wrapped up its second season In May when Nyssa and the League of Assassins returned. Consequently, fans were left wondering if they would see Caity Lotz, who portrays Sara, back on the series in season three.
According to spoilers online this week, Colton Hayes, who portrays Roy, reminded fans that Sara "gave up her jacket" to her sister Laurel before rejoining Nyssa and the League of Assassins during the season two finale. Nevertheless, Haynes hinted that Sara could be back.

"I'm not sure how soon, but obviously, when she does, we might see different facets of her," the actor told TVLine.
Meanwhile, The CW recently announced its fall television schedule, and "Arrow" is set to premiere on Wednesday, October 8 at 8 p.m. EST. Its spin-off series, "The Flash," premieres on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 8 p.m. EST.
As previously reported, "Arrow" showrunners promoted guest-star John Barrowman as a series regular in season three. The actor portrays Malcolm/Dark Archer and was first introduced during season one. However, the Dark Archer played a big role in the season two finale of "Arrow" when he made an alliance with Oliver's sister Thea - striking would could be a powerful father/daughter team. The news of Barrowman's promotion first arrived via Twitter from his co-star Stephen Amell who portrays Arrow/Oliver.
"#Arrow has a new series regular. @Team_Barrowman—What could go wrong," Amell posted along with a photo.
In addition to seeing more of Malcolm, "Arrow" executive producer Marc Guggenheim warned fans that the season three premiere will be missing an important character in Starling City.
"The thing about 'Arrow' is, we've shown a willingness to lose characters when a lot of other shows might keep them around," he told TVLine. "Let me put it this way… There's one character who you will not be seeing at the start of season three."
