Prometheus will play a significant role in Oliver's life. Being a famous vigilante in Star City, he will give Team Arrow the reason to reflect on what happened in the past.

Oliver will be the same person as he was when he returned from the island. The upcoming season will reveal that Prometheus' origin will link back to Oliver's actions in his early days of being a vigilante. This will have him face past demons and encounter new challenges with the villain.

Prometheus is described to be Oliver's contemporary. He is very charismatic. Seeking for revenge is the only reason for him to enter Star City because of his traumatic past. The dark archer will face Oliver in the fifth season.

The new villain, who is also known as James, will soon figure out that Oliver is the man behind the hood. The upcoming season would mean that Oliver will have to revisit his father's list of criminals. Oliver may also have to deal with his actions in the first season as Prometheus may have lost a loved one during the time when Oliver was still a vigilante. However, another challenge for Oliver is to find the list since the notebook was lost during the first season.

Team Arrow to Deal with Their Past

Team Arrow will mostly be dealing with their past. Aside from Oliver, Diggle (David Ramsey) will be dealing with his brother's death and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) will still not get over on what happened to Havenrock.

In dealing with their individual issues, Team Arrow will eventually fall short of power. This time, The Flash and Supergirl will be joining them. Season 5 will have a major crossover in four parts. The 100th episode of Arrow will be during the second part of the crossover, being the 8th episode of the season.

"Arrow" Season 5 will return on The CW Network on October 5.
