'Arrow' Season 5 Updates: Colton Haynes Set to Return in Future Seasons; Team Arrow Additions; New Villains Come In

"Arrow" Season 5 will be coming out soon. Despite having more characters, it seems that this time, Haynes will not appear in the series yet. He portrayed Roy Harper, who has become a favorite character of the show.

Roy Harper Will Not Be Back Yet

Roy Harper has been Oliver Queen's (Stephen Amell) right hand throughout the past seasons. Season 3 made Harper move away from the city and have his own private life. After moving away in the third season, he appeared only once in the following season. And now, it has been reported that Harper will not appear at all in the fifth season.

As of this time, Haynes is busy shooting for Scream Queens. This may be one of the reasons why he can't join the fifth season of Arrow just yet. Wendy Mericle, showrunner of the series, shared in a report that they are ready to have Roy Harper in the show as soon as he is available.

The show will also have more challenges for Oliver and Team Arrow. One of these would be Oliver's break up with Felicity. To get things more interesting, Felicity will have a new love interest in the show.

Team Arrow will also have a more difficult time now that Diggle is not around and Black Canary is dead. Because of this, Oliver and Felicity decided to ask help from Echo Kellum, also known as Mr. Terrific.

More Members for Team Arrow

The upcoming season will also have a blast from the past. Marc Guggenheim, executive producer of the show, shared that Oliver will be held back by his past. Oliver has always been that person who only moves forward; it will be interesting to see how he can reconcile the past with his present.

Furthermore, new members for Team Arrow will be formed aside from the existing ones. Oliver will have a team to protect Star City. There will also be a set of villains who will take part in Season 5. These villains will make Team Arrow's job harder.

Oliver and the team will be very busy once Season 5 kicks in. Roy Harper will be away for now, although there might be a possibility for his comeback next season

"Arrow" will premiere its fifth season on October 5, 2016 in CW Network.
