Ashlee Simpson 'Excited' For Sister Jessica's Wedding, Spills Details on Bridesmaid Dress and More
Ashlee Simpson is among the many people "very excited" for the impending nuptials between her sister Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson.
While Ashlee is set to be a bride herself after getting engaged to Evan Ross earlier this year, the singer and model voiced delight over her big sister's wedding day during an interview this week.
"I don't know when it is," the 29-year-old told Us Weekly. "I'm really excited about it."

Although Ashlee feigned ignorance over the date of her sister's wedding, Jessica is believed to have plans to walk down the aisle over Independence Day weekend near their home in southern California. Without disclosing too much additional information, Simpson added that her elder sister by four years has "amazing taste" that the wedding is sure to wow guests on the big day.
"My [bridesmaid] dress is really beautiful," Ashlee added. "It's really, really stunning."
The starlet continued discussing her sister's style while recalling wearing Jessica's clothes while they were growing up.
"I've always borrowed her clothes," Simpson said. "It's fun to go into her wardrobe and do something different because I'm half-tomboy, half-bohemian. It's fun to have her dress me up … I was either a doll for her growing up, or the one who messed up her shoes!"
Meanwhile, Jessica is said to have invested in a custom wedding gown for the big day- a far cry from the Vera Wang gown worn during her first wedding to Nick Lachey in 2002. Furthermore, the mother of two has been preparing for her wedding day by getting into shape with Weight Watchers over the past few months.
"Knowing that I have the wedding coming up is an incentive to stay on Weight Watchers, count my points and stay in the gym," Simpson explained in a Weight Watchers advertisement. "When you see my dress, you'll know."
In a more recent interview, Simpson revealed even more about her impending wedding.
"It'll definitely be extravagant," she said while on the "Today" show on May 19. "I don't do things small."
